Opposite him, Guillaume Grallet, journalist and author of the book <em>Pionniers, voyage aux fronti\u00e8res de l&#8217;intelligence artificielle<\/em>, hosted a discussion about AI. <\/p>\n<h2>The social impact of AI according to Charles Gorintin<\/h2>\n<p>At the heart of the discussion was the societal impact of this emerging technology.<\/p>\n<p>Far from alarmist rhetoric, Charles Gorintin defends a resolutely optimistic approach. &#8220;<em>Paradoxically, AI helps us be more human<\/em>,&#8221; he asserts. Here again, Charles Gorintin adopts a measured stance. He puts the scale of the problem into perspective by citing data from the International Energy Agency (IEA): AI reportedly accounts for only 0.1% of global electricity consumption.  <\/p>\n<p>This figure, though modest, calls for nuanced reflection. Rather than demonizing the technology, he advocates for advances in energy efficiency and responsible practices, such as those Mistral AI integrates into its developments.
