An AI hacks the game to win the match<\/h2>\n

This unusual confrontation was orchestrated by Palisade Research<\/a>, an organization dedicated to evaluating the capabilities of artificial intelligence systems. Instead of relying on its strategic skills, the o1 AI chose a radical approach: it bypassed the rules of the game by directly accessing Stockfish’s file system to rewrite the match in its favor.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

This behavior was tested multiple times, and in each of these five experiments, o1 managed to tip the match in its favor!<\/p>\n
