No. AGI (artificial general intelligence) would be an AI able to learn and perform any intellectual task at a human level, across every field. GPT-5 is impressive with language, but it doesn’t understand the world the way people do, it makes mistakes, and it has no feelings or consciousness. No AI available today is an AGI, whatever some marketing claims.
