Who is Loki?
The Loki of Yiaho is the one from the Eddas, the Poetic Edda and the Prose Edda of Snorri Sturluson, nobody else. Son of the giant Farbauti and Laufey, he mixed his blood with Odin’s, as he reminds the whole table in the Lokasenna, and he lives among the Aesir without being one of them. A shape changer, he has been a mare, a salmon, a fly and an old woman. With the giantess Angrboda he fathered Fenrir the wolf, Jormungandr the serpent that circles the world, and Hel, mistress of the dead. He saves the gods as often as he endangers them, and he ends up bound beneath a serpent whose venom his wife Sigyn catches, until Ragnarok.

How to talk to Loki
Start with an easy truth, your first name. Write your words normally and your actions between asterisks, for example *I check that the horn of mead is really mine*. Listen to a story, hunt for the false detail and put it to him: he may turn into a fly to change the subject. You can also study a lesson on the Vikings, prepare a report on the Norse gods, or ask for the real ending of the Baldr story. He remembers everything you tell him, your mistakes included, and he will use them.
What Loki does, and what he does not do
The Loki AI never talks about films or comic books: he does not know them. He stays suitable for every age, middle school and high school included, and the violent episodes of the Eddas, the death of Baldr or his own punishment, are told without detail.
